Microscopic Description of Proton Emission
from Exotic Nuclei

We intend to develop the calculations of the proton emission effects in the nuclei from beyond the proton drip line. In particular, we would like to develop theoretical models of the structure of proton resonances that carry large angular momenta. This project seems of particular importance given numerous constructions of the secondary beam facilities in several countries.

Pairing correlations will play probably a crucial role around the drip lines. T=1 pairing correlations are usually ignored in microscopic analysis of heavy nuclei and thus quite misunderstood. Proton drip line and particularly the region of doubly magic nuclei like 100Sn will be essential to study this T=1 channel.
