27th Nuclear Physics Workshop, Lublin, Poland, 21-23 October 2021

We would like to announce that the 27th Nuclear Physics Workshop (NPW), organised by the Institute of Physics of the Maria Curie-SkÅ‚odowska University in Lublin, will be held on 21-23 October 2021 in Lublin, Poland. This year’s Workshop will be entirely devoted to the physics of super-heavy nuclei.

We have changed the traditional venue and time of the Workshop (late September in Kazimierz Dolny) to celebrate awarding Prof. Yuri Ts. Oganessian from JINR Dubna with honoris causa doctorate by the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, 21 October 2021.

The Workshop will start on 21 October in the afternoon, and it will last till 23 October at noon. It will be held in the building of the Institute of Physics UMCS. We plan to organise four plenary sessions as well as a poster session to allow the younger participants to present their recent achievements in this domain.

The organisers do not foresee any conference fee. The participants have to cover only accommodation costs. We will prepare the list of recommended hotels in Lublin later.
