1972 - PhD thesis at the Institute of Nuclear Research, Warsaw, Poland; Permanent position in the Instiute of Physics of Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland,
1976 - visiting scientist at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Soviet Union (12 months),
1977 - Habilitation at Maria Curie Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland,
1978 - scientific stay at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Technical University of Munich, Germany (2 years),
1984 - visiting scientist the Nuclear Theory Department, University Regensburg, Germany, (25 months).
1985 - professor title in Nuclear Physics Theory, MCS Univ., Lublin
1991 - visiting professor at the Institute of Nuclear Research, Strasbourg, France (one year),
1997 - visiting professor at Technical University of Munich (DFG prize), Garching, Germany (one year),
2000 - P.A.S.T. professor in France. Prize of the French Min. of Education: 12 month stay during 3 years in different French scientific institutions, mostly at IReS, Strasbourg,

2018 - invited professor at the Tsinghua University in Beijing, China; Series of lectures given at TU, Peking University, Institute of Theoretical Physics of the China Academy of Science, Nuclear Data Center of CIAE, and the Normal University in Anyang.
2019-2023 scientific collaboration with the Tsinghua University and the China Institute of Atomic Energy in Beijing in the frame of the Polish-Chinese project SHENG.
Co-author of more than 300 scientific publications. The majority of them was published in international scientific journals or in proceedings of international conferences.
