delta-pairing strenghts and nuclear masses

Pairing force plays crucial role in mean-field nuclear calculations.
We discuss the state dependent pairing of the delta type the strenghts
of which is estimated from nuclear masses of both odd and even nuclei.
The masses are calculated with microscopic-macroscopic method, where the macroscopic
part is the LSD energy. We use the BCS equations with blocking
approximaton in case of odd systems. The gap parameters obtained from calculations
are compared to experimental Delta^(3) pairing indicators.
