Spontaneous fission life times of transuranic nuclei with LSD model

J.~Dudek, K.~Mazurek and B. Nerlo-Pomorska

The macroscopic-microscopic method is used in spotaneous fission life times calculations transuranic nuclei in multidimensional space of parameters of deformation $\{ \alpha_{\lambda,\mu}\}$. Shell and pairing corrections are calculated from the single-particle energies of Woods-Saxon potential with universal parameters and added to the macroscopic energy of the newest liquid drop model - LSD [1] to obtain the total potential energy of deformation. We compared results with the pairing correction energy obtained from the solving of the standard BCS equations and from the exact diagonalisation of the state-dependent pairing hamiltonian with the pairing strength constants based on the pairing gaps obtained from the experimental masses of nuclei [2] and compared with Lipkin- Nogami model. The times of life were calculated with the fenomenological mass parameters.
