State dependent pairing and fission half lives of heavy nuclei

Spontaneous fission half-lives (T_sf) of the heaviest nuclei are calculated in the macroscopic-microscopic approach based on the deformed Woods-Saxon potential. Two different pairing models (monopol pairing and the state dependent delta pairing) are examined and their influence on the results is discussed. The calculations of T_sf are performed within WKB approximation.
