Dynamics of capture reactions in the superheavy region

Dynamical aspects, nature and magnitude of the dissipation, of capture reactions (quasi-fission and fusion-fission) are investigated using associated pre- and post-scission neutron multiplicity measurements. Experimental results, obtained at Dubna with the DEMON-CORSET set-up are presented .Pre-scission neutron multiplicity distributions deduced by a new analysis protocol (backtracing) are compared to theoretical models using Langevin equations for different entrance channels leading to nuclei with Z from 102 to 122. The role of One Body Dissipation is pointed out.
