Generalized quantum rotors and its symmetries

The generalized rotor is a simple model which allows to investigate higher discrete symmetries of nuclei. A review of properties of the generalized rotor for the most interesting symmetries is performed. A new idea of contruction of the configuration spaces of the generalized rotor with discrete symmetries is introduced.
